This cold-pressed oil also contains concentrated levels of beneficial medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs). Nutiva Organic Liquid Coconut Oil is derived from organic virgin coconut oil. A USDA Organic certified process is used to extract the fats in virgin oil that stay solid in cooler temperatures, so that the oil stays liquid and ready to use at all times. Unlike non-organic liquid coconut oil brands, there are no chemicals or filler oils used in the process, resulting in a light, clean oil with no nasty aftertaste! This oil is perfect for sauting, sauces, salad dressings, smoothies, popcorn and coffee! It is also a delicious and healthy fat substitute for use in vegan baking up to 350F.
